AEK-973 Build – With this loadout you will climb the scoreboard

The DMR AEK-973 is a strong choice for multiplayer in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. We’ll show you 2 builds with which you can play the meta rifle.

There are currently 33 different weapons in CoD Black Ops 6, from assault rifles to sniper rifles. Although the first meta of BO6 is currently particularly dominated by submachine guns, the AEK-973 is also popular with players.

What kind of weapon is that? You unlock the DMR “AEK-973” at player level 34 in Black Ops 6. From then on you can equip the weapon in multiplayer, in zombie mode and also in Warzone (as soon as the mode is playable) via your armory.

The 3-shot burst rifle is a strong choice at medium and long ranges. It has good stability and a solid rate of fire, which is further increased with certain attachments. If your aim is right, you can consistently eliminate your opponents with a single burst.

CoD Black Ops 6: AEK-973 – Meta Build

What kind of build is this? Judging by the current numbers, a large part of the community is currently playing the AEK-973 with this build (as of November 6th via wzstats.gg). Below we will show you the setup that is considered a meta build for the DMR.

Note that you must equip the Gunslinger wildcard to use 8 attachments. Otherwise you have to limit yourself to 5. You receive the wildcard at player level 33.

What makes the setup strong? The most important attachment for the AEK is the “Rapid Fire” fire mod, as it allows you to fire the 3-shot volleys more quickly in succession. Missed shots are then less serious because you immediately have a second attempt.

The long barrel also gives you a large damage range and the robust combat stock improves your movement speed and flinch resistance. The quick-draw grip greatly improves your aiming speed, while the vertical foregrip increases recoil control. Magazine Expansion I increases the capacity of the rifle from 30 to 45 rounds.

What kind of build is this? If you have just unlocked the AEK-973, you don’t have all the attachments to build the meta build yet. Here we will show you an alternative from wzstats.gg that is good for getting started.

So right from the start you have a weapon that has an increased damage range and improved recoil control. In addition, you can get into the sights more quickly with the handle from weapon level 9.

However, if you are looking for a fully automatic alternative to the AEK-973 that is also suitable for longer distances, we recommend the XM4.
