(Telestock) – Aegean Airlines announced its entry into the capital of Voloteafollowing a capital increase of 100 million euros. A commercial collaboration has been underway between the two airlines since 2021.
According to Volotea, the financial operation strengthens the strategic partnership with Aegean.
Specifically, the Greek company will pay 25 million and the same amount will be used to increase the share capital by Volotea investors. The same operation will be repeated within the first quarter of 2025.
The overall commitment made by Aegean corresponds to a 21% shareholding.
