Today the polling stations in Turkey open for a second election round. Around 60 million eligible Turks will now decide whether there will be another five years with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan or a new start with Kemal Kilicdaroglu.
When neither candidate reached 50 percent in the first round, it all went to a runoff, and since then Erdogan appears to have strengthened his position, according to opinion polls.
The first election results are expected soon.
