(Finance) – The State Police and Rome Airports together again for the inauguration of the exhibition “The Wings of the Police” made with photographs by Massimo Sestini., inaugurated this morning at the Pier E of Terminal 3 departures of the airport Leonardo da Vinci of Fiumicino.
The exhibition, consisting of 16 photos taken from a book celebrating the fifty years of flight of the State Police, is based on the idea that images are often capable of communicating much more than words and are able to describe the contours and emotions of a beautiful job like that carried out by “flying policemen”.
Massimo Sestinipresent at the inauguration this morning, has flew with the policemen of the Flight Department capturing glimpses of sunrises and sunsets in the most incredible places in our country. The photographer was able to capture real “hidden treasures”corners of paradise visible only from above: cities poised between the light of the sun and the faint light of twilight, skyscrapers, flocks of flamingos, the soft colors of the hills and the rugged profile of majestic mountains, squares full of history, the beauty of the beaches in summer when the umbrellas themselves create a colorful fabric, islands emerging from blue seas rippled by small waves of white foam.
