A mother of five was surprised to see how much her adopted son resembles her four biological children. The similarity did not go unnoticed by other people. The mother, who had her seven-year-old adopted son undergo a DNA test, was stunned when she received the test results. Because the mother learned at that moment that the child was actually her husband’s biological child who was born during an extramarital affair.
The 41-year-old mother of five has always wanted a big family. After she had three daughters and a son, she was unable to have another child due to health problems.
Together with her husband Dave, they considered adopting the fifth child. Meanwhile, Dave went abroad for a short time on business. 48-year-old Dave suggested adoption from abroad. This idea came to his mind as well.
Dave took care of most of the paperwork, and soon baby boy named Kalen joined the household as a new member of the family.
Sharing her story on social media without mentioning her name, the mother wrote:
“I’m in love with this boy. He turned seven. Growing up, family members and friends said they didn’t believe he was adopted because he looked so much like other kids.”
One day, while the mother was moving important documents to a new safe, she noticed something strange in the adoption documents and requested a DNA test. The results showed that Dave was indeed Kalen’s biological father.
Stating that she filed a divorce lawsuit against her husband, some social media users criticized the woman, claiming that she did not try to keep the family together, while others said that her husband’s cheating and lies could not be forgiven.
