Actor Rolf Skoglund is dead, the family tells TT.
During his long career, Skoglund made a number of well-known role interpretations both on stage and on film and television, including the choleric father Gösta Backlund in Kjell Sundvall’s TV classic “We were at least lucky with the weather” from 1980.
Rolf Skoglund was employed at Dramaten in 1967 and was subsequently active on the national stage for 50 years. During his career, he also appeared in 35 films, and also played the role of Bébé Fouras in TV4’s “Prisoners at the fort”.
His last appearance was as the protagonist, Sankt Nikolaus, in the TV series “More panic in the elf workshop”, which was broadcast on SVT 2019.
Rolf Skoglund turned 81 years old.
