Since director Justin Lin left Fast & Furious 10, Vin Diesel has been doing massive damage control. This is mainly through weird Instagram videos clearly, in which he plays an ideal Fast & Furious world. Secretly, however, each of these videos seems like it’s holding the cast hostage.
After recently dragging newcomers like Brie Larson and Jason Momoa in front of the camera, here he is newest member of the Fast & Furious family ahead: none other than Oscar winner Rita Moreno joins the action franchise. Her role is a very special one: she plays Dom Toretto’s grandmother.

On Instagram, Diesel commented on the quite unexpected casting of the two-time West Side Story star with the following words:
It has always been my dream to work with Rita Moreno and the fact that she now plays my grandmother makes my soul smile.
