Actor David McCallum, known for his role as a secret agent in the TV series “The Man from UNCLE”, has died aged 90, CBS reports.
Scottish-born McCallum made his breakthrough in the mid-60s as Napoleon Solo’s constant companion Illja Kurjakin, who was given one impossible mission after another in the American spy series.
40 years later, McCallum returned as the eccentric coroner Donald “Ducky” Mallard in the television series “NCIS”.
