A group of climate activists have entered the British Parliament in London – where they say they have glued themselves to the Speaker’s chair, British media reports.

In pictures that the group has posted on social media, a total of five people are standing in the plenary hall. Three of them hold hands around the speaker’s chair, while two others hold signs with the message that you should “let the people decide”.

– We are in a crisis. We cannot afford to continue like this, they say in a speech that is read out.

Even outside the parliament building, two people have locked themselves to a gate outside the entrance, writes the newspaper Metro.
