Helldivers 2: Disable crossplay on PC

To deactivate crossplay on the PC, you have two options:

  • Standard variant
  • You open your options, go to the “Gameplay” tab and set the “Crossplay” setting to “Off”.
  • Variant if you don’t come into play
  • Press the “Win ​​Key + R” keys at the same time
  • Enter the following: %userprofile%/appdata/roaming/arrowhead/helldivers2
  • Right click on: user_settings.config
  • Selects: openwith
  • Selects: Notepad
  • Scroll to the end until you reach “initial_setup_completed = true”.

    To deactivate crossplay on the PS5, you only have one option:

    • There is no way to disable crossplay outside of the game on the PS5.

    What is the advantage of crossplay? If you play with crossplay in Helldivers 2, you will be connected to PC and PS5 players in the matchmaking process. This ensures that you can reach a much larger group of different players.
