In Pokémon GO you can use new adventure effects and should do so for research. We summarize how it works here.
The global Sinnoh Tour 2024 is currently running in Pokémon GO, which you can follow here in the live ticker. Part of this Sinnoh tour includes, among other things, the raids with the original forms of Dialga and Palkia.
The special thing about these two forms is that they are not only very strong, but each also has a special attack.
With these attacks you can trigger an adventure effect outside of combat.
How do you get time noise and space impact? You must defeat Primal Palkia and Primal Dialga in raids to catch them. Both have a chance of mastering the special attack. This is only guaranteed for the respective monster whose path you chose in the “Road to Sinnoh” – pearl for Palkia, diamond for Dialga. With the other one you have to rely on luck.
The attack cannot currently be taught via TMs. The normal variants of the monsters cannot currently learn the attack either; they only apply to the original forms.
Important: In the event research “Comes time, comes space” you have to trigger the adventure effect of your respective monster. We’ll show you how to do this here.
Adventure effect “Time Noise” and “Use Space Strike” – This is how it works
How do I use the adventure effect? To do this you have to do this:
What can temporal noise do? If you have Primordial Dialga with Time Noise, you can use 5 Dialga Candies and 5,000 Stardust to extend the time of items such as Smoke, Star Piece, Daily Adventure Smoke, and the like by 6 minutes. You can stack this effect on each other, there is even an example where trainers extended the effect to 12 hours.
What can space strike do? If you have Primal Palkia with Space Strike, you can use 5 Palkia Candies and 5,000 Stardust to increase the encounter radius with wild Pokémon for 10 minutes. You can stack this too.
You can see whether it worked by looking at a small timer on the side of your screen. Note that you can only have one of the two adventure effects active at a time. Also note that the bonuses, while useful, are not necessarily cheap considering the candies and stardust.
If you want to grab the two monsters, you should take advantage of the Sinnoh tour, because it is currently unclear when Ur-Dialga and Ur-Palkia will return next. By the way, both of them are also worth it apart from the adventure effect: both Ur-Palkia and Ur-Dialga are very strong attackers.
