Jackie Chan is back. The action star has been quiet for a long time, but now he’s planning an even more impressive return with Fast & Furious 10 hero John Cena. In the first trailer for Hidden Strike, Rush Hour and Mad Max combine in an explosive mix.

Mad Max with Rush Hour duo: Action star Jackie Chan puts a stop to oil thieves

Hidden Strike is set in the near future when a group of criminals are trying to steal resources from an oil refinery in Iraq. That goes against the grain of security man Jackie Luo (Chan) and ex-soldier Chris Van Horne (Cena). They set out to bring the oil to safety. As the crossfire rages around them.

Hidden Strike’s truck racing in the desert is reminiscent of Mad Max: Fury Road, but the dynamic between Chan and Cena stays true to action classics like Rush Hour or Shang-High Noon. Fans of both stars may be in for a terrific treat.

Unfortunately, there is no precise start date for Hidden Strike yet. We’re still going 2023 from a publication. The action film could start in our cinema or directly in the stream.
