Since 2002, the Festival Longue d’ondes has become the unmissable and unmissable event for all lovers of radio. A popular event that combines meetings, workshops and shows, and which promotes through its association radio creation in all its artistic and cultural diversity.
Welcome to the Festival Wavelength, the radio and listening festival whose 19th edition takes place until Sunday February 5 in Brest, in Finistère, at the western tip of France. It is the meeting place for all those who do and all those who love radio media and sound and radio writing.
And as VMDN loves radio, stories and Brittany, we invited an author and storyteller, a man who explores the art of speech, and who combines it with many other artistic disciplines. His name is Achille Grimaud and he lives with his band, simply called the BAG like the Band in Grimaud.
Achille Grimaud is the guest of Jean-François Cadet in the ephemeral studio of RFI installed at the Ateliers des Capucins, in the heart of the arsenal of Brest. He comes to tell us about his artistic approach which combines his working tool – the spoken word – with other arts: song, music, cinema and of course, sound creation.
