Acer shared its 2023 targets for the Turkish market

At the meeting, where Acer conveyed its 2023 targets, the new products introduced in January were showcased for the first time in Turkey.

Despite the negative atmosphere in the industry, Acer continued to introduce new products with the latest technologies to its users, despite the negative atmosphere in the industry last year, when sales fell in the market as the pandemic waned and global chip supply problems arose. The reflections of this positive picture showed itself in numbers in Turkey as well as globally.

Acer reveals its 2023 goals

According to GFK data, Acer’s revenue in the market increased by 24 percent in 2022, and its share in laptop sales in the 4th quarter of 2022 exceeded 10 percent. The product group that made the biggest contribution to Acer’s revenue was the laptops it offered to individual consumers, especially in the gaming category. Acer’s revenue in gaming laptops grew 105 percent year-on-year. As a brand that always develops products and technologies that meet the needs of its consumers, Acer has recently introduced new products, and the effects of the increasing demand for laptops in the individual consumer segment, especially gaming, are tangible.

Taking the stage with its new products at the event it held before the CES, the world’s largest consumer electronics fair held in Las Vegas in January, Acer draws attention with its performance and design-oriented improvements, especially in the laptop series it offers for individual users. Acer, the latest members of the Predator, Aspire, Nitro and Swift series introduced at this event, is preparing to put it on sale in Turkey in the near future.

Acer EMEA Vice President Grigory Nizovsky, who came before the Turkish press at the press conference held in Feriye, Istanbul, and underlined the importance of the Turkish market for them at every opportunity, said, “As Acer, we always give priority to what we offer to the end user and we bring the most suitable and accessible devices for the end user. . Our new laptops stand out for their advanced performance features as well as brand new designs that offer a modern, striking visual appeal. In the current situation, we know that Acer products have a good perception in Turkish consumers. At this point, I would like to state that we will continue to offer the best technology and the best experience at the best prices to our users in Turkey, which has always been a very important market for us.

According to the data of the 4th quarter of 2022, the share of our non-computer products reached 26.3 percent at the group level. This is a very pleasing development for us. This year, we aim to bring many new products from computer accessories to e-mobility devices and Altos servers to our Turkish users in Turkey. We have started to offer some of these products in EMEA countries. Our laptop market share target for 2023 in Turkey is 12 percent. However, as I mentioned, there is much more to our roadmap than that. With all these new developments, we expect our revenue in Turkey to exceed $100 million in 2023.”
