(Finance) – ACEA participate in the “Christmas peasant village” organized by Coldiretti in Naples. Starting today, and until December 9th, it will be present with a stand to raise awareness of the importance of water in agriculture and daily life.
In Italy they are consumed annually 26 billion cubic meters of water. And it’s the agricultural sector to cover most of its use, with a 55% of the entire demand of water in the country. To protect, safeguard and reuse such a precious resource, ACEA is convinced that everyone’s contribution is needed: from citizens to institutions, from control bodies to managers and associations.
During the three days of the event, the staff present at the stand will provide information and explain in detail the activities of the ACEA Group on the issues of the circular economy in the purification of wastewater and the reuse of purified water. A will also be screened video on the Fregene purifier managed by Acea Ato 2, located in the WWF Oasis of Macchiagrande, a virtuous example of how to preserve ecosystems and protagonist of an important project for the reuse of purified water for the irrigation of agricultural land. The. will also be illustrated “DepurArt” project through which the purification plant becomes a real cultural site open to schools and
students thanks to a multimedia audio guide to discover, step by step, the water purification process and its technologies.
