(Finance) – From today it is online on the website ACEA a section special PNRR dedicated to the iwater infrastructures and large construction sites which will be implemented by the Group in the coming months thanks to the funds from the Recovery and Resilience Plan.
Acea Ato 2 obtained from the PNRR financing for approximately 227 million of Euroin the period 2021-2026, for the creation of several strategic interventions which concern supply and distribution networks, resource recovery (water losses) and sewerage and purification services. Among the interventions also different ones to be made modernization works falling within the system Peschiera aqueduct.
The section dedicated to Acea Ato 2 projects is divided into three areas: Aqueducts and major worksthese are four projects aimed at securing and modernizing the Peschiera aqueduct system and the water supply of Rome Capital and the metropolitan area (New Marcio Aqueduct 1st lot; Ottavia-Trionfale adductor; Doubling of the VIII siphon – Casa Valeria section Galleria Ripoli exit; Condotta Monte Castellone–Colle Sant’Angelo-Valmontone). Digitalization and efficiency of water distribution networksthe project is aimed at reducing losses in water distribution networks, through digitalisation and monitoring of the networks. Purification, sewerage and management of sewage sludgethese are projects that have the objective of making the collection and purification of waste water increasingly effective and sustainable, promoting the circular economy also through the use of technological innovation (strengthening of the integrated purification plant of Ponte Lucano in Tivoli; sewerage collector relating to the Valle Giordano purifier; extension of the Crescenza main line – Tomba di Nerone sewerage system; adaptation of the Ciciliano purification plant; reclamation of the collector and network relating to the Ciciliano purifier; connection to eastern Rome of the Borgonuovo purifier).
