(Finance) – “When a colleague passes away, for us accountants, a very united and supportive community, it is always a great pain. We have established the scholarships for practitioners in memory of my colleague Mimmo Bocchettito encourage young people’s access to the world of professions. Today, young people tend to prefer permanent jobs which seem to offer greater tranquility and more time available for the family and to cultivate their passions. We believe that the profession of accountant, in its evolution, is full of appeal and is able to give economic and professional satisfaction to those who want to undertake it”. Eraldo Turi, president of the Order of Chartered Accountants and Accounting Experts of Napleson the sidelines of the presentation of the scholarships named after Domenico Bocchetti, which took place at Palazzo Calabritto in the conference room in Piazza dei Martiri.

Today, remembering him, we have chosen a theme dear to him: shortage of practitionersa crucial topic for the future of our profession, which he deeply loved. In the last two years, the number of trainees enrolled has decreased significantly. It is essential to intervene to counter this trend, illustrating the new opportunities that the profession can offer, to attract young talents and guarantee continuity to our work”.

For Vincenzo Piccirillo, president of the young accountants of Naples: “This day is a significant opportunity to pay homage to a professional who has always shown great attention towards young people and the profession.
