(Finance) – “With the approval of the 2024 budget, the new board of directors has given a strong signal to the territory and to all the young people who want to undertake this profession. We have worked closely with the Order, with public bodies and the Revenue Agency so that it is possible to undertake paths aimed at entering increasingly broader sectors of our profession. Overcoming the old concept of the accountant linked to accounting and projecting him increasingly in a modern key as a global consultant for companies and families, capable of playing a decisive role in strategic choices also in tax matters, subsidized finance, internationalization and in relations with public bodies”. These are the words of Vincenzo Piccirillo, president of the Union of Young Chartered Accountants and Accounting Experts of Naples, in the course of theAssembly for the approval of the 2024 budget of the Neapolitan Ugdcec, which took place at the Mediterraneo Hotel in Naples. They introduced the works Heraldo Turi, president of the Odcec of Naples and Vincent Moretta, president of the Foundation of Neapolitan accountants.
“We want to have a fundamental role not only within the profession but above all – he highlighted Cristiana Ciabatti, secretary of the Ugdcec of Naples – in the specializations that are important for building the new figure of the professional, increasingly prepared and ready to offer a decisive contribution in the choices of his clients. As regards tax litigation, for example, we organized in Naples one of the most important events of recent years, demonstrating that young people, with study, passion and in-depth analysis, can make the difference”.
“It has been a very intense year, characterized by many activities. The goal – he said Luigi Passante, vice-president of Ugdcec Naples – is to always do better and the first step of the new board of directors gives us hope. We want to protect young people by making sure that there are opportunities and tools for them, giving them the possibility to cooperate to share experiences and knowledge that are the basis of professional growth”.
“The training – he argued Adelaide Rescigno, head of the Ugdcec Naples study commissions – is essential for us and we always try to update and improve ourselves through the many training events that we organize for all members. We have different areas of study to constantly work on updating. One of the strong points is the organization of the preparation course for the exam to qualify as a chartered accountant. Twenty distance learning lessons to help candidates for both annual exam sessions”.
