(Finance) – “If today what is looming is a tax calendar which determines a better harmonization and simplification of obligations this is essentially due to the Mef, in the person of the Deputy Minister Maurizio Leoand to the Finance Committees of the House and Senate who demonstrated an attitude of openness and availability towards ANC, whose proposed amendments to government documents no. 93 and n. 105, through fruitful discussions, have been implemented”.
This is what he says Marco Cuchelpresident of the National Association of Accountants, defining “singular that only now that the possibility of finally having a sustainable fiscal calendar can materialize, even the National Council of Chartered Accountants and Accounting Expertswhich had previously fully agreed with the scheme initially envisaged by the Government, is found again on the position always supported by the ANC”.
“We take note of this change in our National Council, which surprises us favorably, we only hope that on the other open issues involving the category – underlines the President of the ANC – there is the will to first build a real commonality of intent and priority”.
“The National Association of Accountants immediately raised the problem of the unsustainability of the fiscal calendar”, Cuchel recalled, adding “after a parliamentary process which should be positively in the home stretch, a fiscal calendar appears to be emerging which sees the main critical issues overcome which effectively made it, as initially formulated by the Government, completely unsustainable and unworkable for taxpayers and professionals”.
