– Corrupted (Joe) Biden the administration has informed my lawyers that I have been indicted, Trump writes.

– I never thought that this could happen to the former president of the United States.

Trump is the first former US president to be indicted at the federal level. He has repeatedly denied doing anything wrong.

The Ministry of Justice has not confirmed

Federal prosecutors have said Trump took about 11,000 documents to his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida after his presidential term ended in 2021.

An anonymous source also tells at least Reuters about the charges. According to the source, Trump is accused of a total of seven crimes, including possession of secret documents and obstruction of justice.

According to AFP, there was no immediate confirmation of the charges from the country’s Ministry of Justice. Trump’s lawyers also did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

There are several different lawsuits against the former president that could lead to criminal charges. Next March, a criminal trial will begin in connection with the case in which Trump is suspected of falsifying his company information to cover up payments made to a porn actress to Stormy Daniels.

In May, the court in New York found Trump guilty of being a writer-journalist in the 1990s by E. Jean Carroll for sexual abuse. The nine-member jury also found Trump guilty of defamation after he insulted Carroll on social media. It was not a criminal charge, but a civil lawsuit.
