The accident occurred shortly after 4:30 p.m. north of exit 125. The lorry was traveling south and drove into the center guardrail for an as yet unclear reason. The tow truck itself ended up in the ditch and the trailer blocked the northbound lanes.
According to the emergency services, the rescue work at the scene was complicated by the fact that the truck tore the wire railing with it, which in turn ended up strung over the vehicle. Personnel from the road maintenance company Svevia therefore went out to the accident site to assist.
– The risk is otherwise that the wire will release and go away when you try to untie it, says Torbjörn Lindqvist, officer on duty at the police.
There are currently no reports of personal injuries and no suspicions of crime. At 7 p.m., traffic began to be allowed to open again.
