The alarm came in around 15.50 about the accident at the height of Hagsta. Right now, long queues are winding in the direction of Gävle.
– There are three cars involved. One of the cars must have overturned and is on the roof, says Matilda Isaksson, commander at the police’s regional command center.
At least one person must be injured and complaining of neck pain.
“Very large traffic impact”
During the rescue work, there is a total standstill in the southbound direction.
– The accident has a very large traffic impact. We recommend that you drive via the old E4 instead, says Matilda Isaksson.
Rescuers have been called to the scene and are expected to be there shortly before 5 p.m.
