A serious single accident occurred on the E4 in a northbound direction north of Värnamo shortly after 8 pm, police say on their site. A person in a passenger car was seriously injured.
“Very serious” injuries – drove into truck
“The person was left in the car and taken out by emergency services and ambulance personnel, and was taken to hospital with injuries that are considered to be very serious,” said police spokesperson Mats Pettersson to TT.
The rescue service’s management operator tells Värnamo News that the passenger car should have driven into the rear on a truck.
According to the police, the road is partially blocked and road users are invited to take it easy.
– We are still there and work on the site. Carreles are ordered. There is limited accessibility there, says Mats Pettersson at 20.30.
