Leerdam – An accident involving eight vehicles took place on the A27 near Lexmond this afternoon around 2:30 p.m. One car skidded and as a result seven other vehicles and a truck collided. One person was taken to hospital for evaluation. The police reported this on X, formerly Twitter.
