As it turns out today Tumblr platform was blocked in Turkey. The ban comes from the Kuşadası Criminal Court of Peace.
Social media platform Tumblr here according to the news With the decision of Kuşadası Criminal Judgeship of Peace dated 9 November 2022 and numbered 2022/3144 access denied. Tumblr announced on November 4 that it would allow nude content on the platform by removing a ban that has been going on since 2018. The penalty that came directly on top of this was not too much of a surprise. The penalty, which some internet access providers did not implement as of November 12, 17:32, will most likely be implemented widely before the end of the day.
Tumblr introduces itself with these interesting explanations: “It’s a ‘bitsy site’ environment. It’s the place for crappy posts and level discussions. Occasionally, both happen at the same time. Think of the most colorful people you know. This is such a place. A place for pure emotions… A nest of mischievous ideas… Did you say influencers? They have no business here. This is your place.
