But in terms of quality, the superhero actioner failed most people: the 5.3 points on Moviepilot are still merciful if the film is only on Rotten Tomatoes 48% (audience) or 27% (reviews) comes. The main criticisms were the old-fashioned, lean plot of the biker and his pact with the devil, as well as the poor computer effects.

After Nicolas Cage gave up his body for Ghost Rider trained harder than ever before this setback was particularly disappointing. It was important to him to make it clear to GQ:
