The Netflix series is the perfect Bridgerton replacement
The “hot” men in the series by Sex and the City creator Darren Star usually have two names. Emily has been caught between her French neighbor and talented chef Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) and the English banker Alfie (Lucien Laviscount) for some time. In season 3, a number of complications complicate the love triangle (affairs, weddings, pregnancies, things like that), because every time Emily is close to happiness, a dramatic discovery turns everything upside down.
But this is not the only The appeal of Emily in Paris, which should appeal to fans of Bidgerton and similar seriesThe series is full of likeable (mainly French) supporting characters with their own romantic and professional stories (especially Emily’s boss Sylvie). It also boasts some of the most absurd costumes you can see on this or other streaming providers. Every outfit change by Lily Collins, every handbag is a borderline experience between a feast for the eyes and a fashion faux pas. Which makes the overall package Emily in Paris quite entertaining.
