Ben Affleck plays himself in the trailer for cult sequel Clerks 3
Basically, not much has changed in Randal and Dante in the 15 years since Clerks 2 – The Hangers. They still work in the same shop and continue to philosophize about life, sex and Star Wars. However, when Randal suffers a heart attack, he decides to make a film about himself and his existence. And from there the meta-fun takes its course.
While the predecessors were filled to the brim with self-deprecating jokes and subtle allusions, there are no longer any limits to the madness in Clerks 3. Of course, Jay and Silent Bob shouldn’t be missing from the shooting either. and Ben Affleck basically plays himself. An actor keen on the lead role.
When will Kevin Smith’s cult sequel Clerks 3 be in cinemas?
Jack of all trades Kevin Smith (Cop Out) will direct part 3 again. A German theatrical release is not yet known. The film is scheduled to open in the US on September 13, 2022.
