It was during the autumn of last year that the defense health at the Jägarbataljonen in Arvidsjaur made a report to the Medical Products Agency. Several conscripts had received wounds on their feet and had been forced to cancel physical activities and therefore fell behind in certain educational aspects.
In the report, the defense health doctor wrote that it is, among other things, “large blisters where the skin then falls off”.
The use of the product was stopped.
Allergic reactions
Now Norrbotten’s air fleet in Luleå reports to the Medical Products Agency that six conscripts had allergic reactions on their feet after using tape against chafing wounds.
The use of the tape has also been stopped this time.
