About 30 bodies found in Libya – according to authorities, the dead were immigrants | Brief news

In Libya, nearly 30 migrant bodies have been found in the western and southeast of the country, the local security authorities and the Libyan Red Crescent on Thursday.

According to authorities, 19 people’s bodies were found in a total of three graves in a farm in the Jikharra area. The dead were found to be victims of illegal migrant smuggling, authorities say.

The Libyan Red Cross, in turn, says that volunteers of the organization have found ten people’s bodies close to the place where the ship carried them sank outside the port of Zawiya.

Libya has become a transit to Europe through the Mediterranean.
