About 20 journalists arrested in Moscow

The protest the journalists covered consisted of wives of men mobilized to fight in Ukraine. According to the AFP news agency, their video journalist is among those taken to a police station. For several weeks, they have organized demonstrations near the Kremlin, to make their demands that the spouses be sent home. Their protests and the growing anger against President Vladimir Putin’s decree to mobilize reservists for his war have gone unnoticed in Russian state media. In March, there are presidential elections in Russia and Putin has set his sights on a fifth term.
