(Finance) – TheAbi has issued a circular letter to members in which it reports that it has been published on the website of Department of Civil Protectionthe Ordinance of the Head of the Civil Protection Department with which it was a measure to suspend the payment of mortgage installments was adoptedas a consequence of the exceptional meteorological events occurred, starting from 18 September 2024, in the coastal area of the Marche Region.
The ordinance, adds the banks association in a note, is in progress publication in the Official Journal, incorporates the contents of the agreement signed by Abi, Civil Protection and consumer associations to ensure timely interventions in favor of populations affected by natural disasters. With the publication in the Official Journal it will be possible for banks to immediately implement the suspension of mortgages for these territories.
