Two vehicles collided for unknown reasons. All five victims were taken to hospital. Two of them went to Amsterdam, three to another hospital. It is unknown how serious the injuries are. There was a lot of glass on the road and the cars have come to a stop on the roadway. A dog was also injured, which was taken away by the animal ambulance, according to the Utrecht Security Region (VRU).
