A 16-year-old abused by Iran’s chastity police Armita Geravand has died on Saturday morning. He had been in a coma for almost a month.

According to the activists, the police had abused the young man because he had not worn a scarf in the subway in Tehran, says, among other things British broadcasting company BBC.

Iranian authorities have denied the claim and said the girl fainted due to low blood sugar.

In the surveillance camera image released by the authorities, two passengers pull an unconscious girl from the subway car.

Last Sunday, it was reported that two journalists who reported on an Iranian have been sentenced in Iran Mahsa Aminin death last year. The journalists were sentenced to six and seven years in prison.

Amini died in September 2022 after being arrested by the chastity police in Tehran for wearing a scarf incorrectly.
