Sports Director of VPS Janne Lindberg has received a written warning for inappropriate behavior.
Lindberg has sent sexually tinged messages and comments to the club’s female employees. The matter has already been investigated in the spring, and the athletic director was given a written warning in the spring.
According to legal experts, a warning is a reasonable and correct measure considering the quality of the harassment, and there are no legal grounds for terminating the employment relationship. The case has also been reported to the Football Association in June 2023, says VPS in its announcement.

– In principle, matters related to the employment relationship cannot be discussed publicly by the employer. However, now that similar cases have come to light, it was agreed and permission was also obtained from him himself that such a release can be made.
