Suomen Purjehdus ja Veneily ry’s director of sports activities, Vili Kaijansinkko, has received a written warning regarding issues related to work management and financial planning.
Suomen Purjehdus ja Veneily ry informs that it received an occupational health and safety notice in September, and after investigations, the director of sports activities has decided to issue a written warning Vili Kaijansinko.
As a whole, the announcement made with the evaluations has brought to the fore issues related to work management and financial planning in Kaijansinko’s operations, which are not in accordance with the union’s values and guidelines.
– I have received a written warning for my actions, I take it seriously and apologize. Humbly hearing the feedback, I commit to developing myself and my activities in the future, says Kaijansinkko.
The union says that, based on the report, it immediately took action to eliminate the grievances and improve the well-being of the entire working community.
– We check the financial monitoring and operating models of elite sports. We discuss with the staff of the sports team together and separately and develop operating methods, states the chairman of the SPV’s federal board Jan Jansson.
