The woman was on a sidewalk when she was suddenly hit. A man has been arrested, suspected of having run over the woman on purpose, the police say.
The incident occurred in central Falkenberg on Tuesday morning.
– The driver is a 55-year-old man. After questioning, the prosecutor has decided to arrest him, on suspicion of attempted serious assault and negligence in traffic, says Jenny Widén, press spokesperson at the police.
According to initial reports, the woman suffered minor injuries.
– There is a relationship between these people, but I cannot go into more detail about what it looks like, says Jenny Widén.
