On Monday morning, the police receive a call about a traffic accident in central Vindeln.
A woman in her 65-70s is said to have been hit and taken to hospital by ambulance.
On Tuesday, the police announced that the woman died from her injuries.
They are now investigating how the accident happened and the incident is currently classified as causing the death of another. No one is suspected of a crime.
Relatives have been notified.
