The woman who was injured in the shooting in the Emporia mall in Malmö probably happened to be in the path of the bullet. The target of the shooting was the man who is suspected of having been shot to death by the now arrested teenage boy.
– Everything indicates that the man, a 31-year-old, who died after the shooting was the intended victim of the act.
That’s what Petra Stenkula, police area manager in Malmö, says at the press conference the police held on Saturday morning regarding the shooting at the Emporia shopping center in Malmö.
– The woman who is seriously injured was probably just a passerby, she continues.
