More than 30 people have been charged since they demonstrated against Turkey’s decision to oust three mayors in the Kurdish-majority southeast.
Formal charges have been brought against 33 of those arrested for participating in the protests. Another 37 people have been placed under surveillance, according to the Interior Ministry in Ankara.
The Turkish government replaced the three mayors with government loyalists just under a week ago. The three mayors are accused of “connections to terrorism”.
Unrest continues in Amsterdam after Thursday’s football match between Ajax and Maccabi Tel Aviv, when around 30 Israelis were attacked and beaten after leaving the stadium.
The violent clashes prompted authorities in Amsterdam to impose a three-day ban on demonstrations.
Despite that, a large pro-Palestinian demonstration has been going on during the day on Dam Square in central Amsterdam.
At least 20 people have been arrested, local media reports.
A man has died and two people have been injured after they were stabbed at a market in London, write Sky News.
The three people were attacked on Sunday morning at East Street Market, off Walworth Road in south London.
The two injured – a man and a woman – were taken to hospital for treatment. The extent of the damage is still unclear.
A man, said to be in his 60s, was arrested at the scene by police.
“Tragically, a man lost his life this morning and officers are working hard to establish exactly what happened and to provide support to his family.” My thoughts and sincere sympathies are with them, and with the other injured, the police told the newspaper.
A man in his 60s has been stabbed in a parking lot in Partille northeast of Gothenburg.
– He is injured in the shoulder and has now been taken to hospital, says police spokesperson Thomas Fuxborg.
A suspected perpetrator is said to have left the scene, but no one has yet been arrested in the case.
– We hope to get information on what he looked like and where he went, says Thomas Fuxborg.
At the moment, there is nothing to indicate that the perpetrator and the plaintiff are familiar with each other.
German author Jürgen Becker is dead, German media say.
Becker made his debut in the 1960s when he used a new idiom consisting of context-free words, expressions, sound fragments and even blank text pages. His first novel “Ur skildandenas historia” came out in 1999 and was based on his own traumatic experiences during the war years.
In 2014, Becker was awarded the Büchner prize for literature. He was 92 years old.
Israel’s future Defense Minister Israel Katz claims that the country has defeated Hezbollah, according to the Israeli radio channel GLZ Radio.
“Hammas has been weakened organizationally, we have defeated Hezbollah – now it is our task to reap the fruits of this victory,” says Kartz according to the radio channel’s account on X.
A truck and two cars have collided on the E18 in Enköping.
The alarm was received by the emergency services at 1 p.m.
– Two people have been taken to hospital by ambulance, says commanding officer Henrik Jynnesjö.
Their injury status is unclear.
Both lanes in the direction of Västerås were closed, which had a major impact on traffic.
– The truck needs to be recovered from the scene, so there will be traffic disruption for a while, says Henrik Jynnesjö.
The police are working at the scene to divert traffic via an on- and off-ramp nearby.

A moored boat at Djurgården in Stockholm is on fire.
The emergency services have just arrived at the scene.
– There is a boat on fire on the Djurgård side, the rescue service says.
It is currently unclear what caused the fire and no injuries have so far been reported.
Pictures from the scene show heavy smoke coming from a boat.
There is a fire in an industrial premises in Tierp.
The emergency services were called to the scene at 09.05. Several units are on site to extinguish the fire.
– It is a fully developed fire in a sawmill and it is burning in a part of the premises right now, says Ludvig Sääf, commanding officer at the rescue service.
According to the rescue service, there are gas cylinders in the building and there is a risk of explosion, reports P4 Uppland.
But there should be no danger to the public as the premises are secluded. The risk of spread is also described as low and the emergency services will let the building burn down.
The police are also on site and assisting the emergency services.
There are no reports of any injuries and it is still unclear how the fire started.

At least 30 people have been killed in two Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip, according to the Palestinian Authority’s Civil Defense Authority.
Israel’s military announces that an offensive against northern Gaza will continue.
In the one attack, against a house in Jabalia in northern Gaza, “at least 25” people were killed, including 13 children, according to the civil defense. Another five people are said to have been killed in an attack on an area of Gaza City.
The civil defense in Gaza, like all the authorities there, is under the control of the Islamist movement Hamas.
The Wafa news agency, which reports to the Palestinian Authority in the occupied West Bank, reports a higher death toll just from the attack in Jabalia and writes that additional people are missing there.

The police in Skellefteå were contacted during the night to Sunday about someone stealing Christmas lights from a lot, the police write on their website.
An identical Christmas light was found about an hour later at another address.
A person at the address is now suspected of theft.
The Christmas lights have been returned to where they were stolen from.
A sabotage attempt on the railway between Eskilstuna and Strängnäs was carried out in the early hours of the morning. It reports SN.
In a tunnel on the route, there were stones and other debris on the track.

There were no injuries in connection with the sabotage attempt.
The police have drawn up a report of attempted sabotage. At the moment, there are no traces of the perpetrators.
During the night, two tombstones have been overturned, lanterns and other grave decorations have been destroyed on several graves in the Old Cemetery in Västervik.
The police have been on site for documentation and a report regarding breach of grave privacy is being drawn up.
There are currently no suspects.
Ten people have been killed by a man who opened fire inside a bar in the Mexican city of Queretaro on Saturday. Another seven people were injured.
One suspect was arrested and the vehicle suspected of being used in the attack was later found abandoned after being set on fire, according to local authorities.
Queretaro is considered one of the safer cities in Mexico. Escalating violence, largely linked to drug trafficking and gangs, has led to more than 450,000 people being murdered in the country since 2006.
