A 55-year-old woman has fallen in an elevator between two floors at her workplace in central Malmö.
– She has fallen from floor one to floor two in an elevator shaft when the door was opened. According to the initial information, there is some technical error when opening the door, says Fredrik Bratt, press spokesperson at the police.
The woman has been taken to hospital by ambulance, the extent of her injuries is unclear, but the woman was awake and able to speak.
– According to the patrol on site, it is estimated that she fell about one and a half meters, says Fredrik Bratt.
The police have written a report about work environment violations and causing bodily harm.
