A wild proposal from a champion coach superiority and fights

Boston Celtics champion coach Joe Mazzulla would like to get a real reward for an opponent’s mistake.

In many sports, there is a discussion from time to time about how the rules could be changed so that the game would be, among other things, even more entertaining.

Basketball league NBA champion coach With Joe Mazzu has two wild ideas: he would bring brawls and dominance to the NBA. He points out that basketball is one of the only sports where there is no superiority.

– We should have superior powers. If you get one free throw for a technical foul or a normal foul, however, you don’t get a real reward if you miss the throw, Mazzulla stated on the 98.5 Sporst Hub radio show.

He suggests that a normal foul or technical foul should be followed by a one-player power play for five seconds or three passes. In Mazzulla’s opinion, the superiority during the entire ball control would be too extreme a consequence.

– If you made a mistake, you would have to go to half the field and the center circle, and you would not be able to leave for three seconds, Mazzulla elaborates on his proposal.

Mazzulla, who is fond of martial arts, also suggests allowing fights.

– The biggest thing we take away from people from an entertainment point of view is that you can’t fight anymore. I wish the fights could be brought back. What could be more entertaining than a little nudge?

Fights have never been a part of basketball like, for example, hockey. Mazzulla doesn’t elaborate on what he’s saying, but he’s probably referring to the fact that in the old days, basketball used to allow dribbling and much more physical play.
