A week after the mysterious murder in Torshälla – still no suspect

It was early Monday morning last week that a 45-year-old woman was found dead outside in Torshälla. Initially, the incident was investigated as a case of illness, but once at the hospital, gunshot wounds were found on the woman and the incident is now being investigated as a murder.

Charlotta Tanner says it is confirmed that the woman was killed and that some type of firearm was involved. The police also have theories about what may have happened to the woman.

– But it’s not something I comment on in the media, says Charlotta Tanner.

The police want tips

According to the police, there is no known threat against the woman and there are no connections to gang crime. Charlotta Tanner says that the investigation has the highest priority.

– The investigation is in full swing and is at the reconnaissance stage. We are happy to receive tips from the public, she says.

Troubled in the area

Several Torshällabors that SVT spoke to say that fewer people than usual usually walk on the footpath and bicycle path where the woman was found.
