A warning from China to the EU about the danger

China and the EU each protect their markets with import tariffs.

The Chinese Ministry of Commerce warns the European Union about the danger of a possible trade war. The ministry accuses the EU of coercion regarding mutual trade, which could trigger a trade war.

– The responsibility lies entirely with the EU, the Chinese Ministry of Trade says in its press release.

China says it hopes the EU will meet it halfway, deal with differences through negotiation, and be careful not to let differences lead to enlargement.

The EU is planning to temporarily raise the import fees for electric cars imported from China. The withdrawal applies to both Chinese brands and foreign car brands manufactured in the country.

China, on the other hand, plans to put a stop to the import of pork from the EU.
