Filming for Amazon’s Season 2 of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power has begun. But with the move from New Zealand to Great Britain, secrecy has become much more difficult. And so show drone images, spying on the setalready an important scene, the Disaster and war promised.

In Season 1 of The Rings of Power we visited a dwarven city in Khazad-dûm and human cities on Númenor. The Elvish metropolises of Lindon (where King Gil-galad resides) and Eregion (where Celebrimbor forges the rings), on the other hand, have remained little more than establishing shots (i.e. removed opening scenes), a forest with a banquet table and the interior of a tower. That might change in Season 2. This time we still shine delve deeper into the Elvish world of life.

In addition to the filigree Elvish architecture and the spacious square with a white pagoda and a fountain stone (?), a rock face and something like that can also be seen on the 8 Reddit photos trenches looks. Is this just another Mordor set or is there more to it?

The Rings of Power: Eregion in Season 1

Lord of the Rings series creators John D. Payne and Patrick McKay are already teasing one for Season 2 of The Power of the Rings massive battle over 2 episodes. With the new set art, we now have a good indication of where the battle may be raging.
