Since the formalization of the remake of The Last of Us on PS5, two camps are opposed: there are those who believe that it is only a simple remaster, and there are those who think that The Last of Us Part I is indeed a remake in the same way as that of Resident Evil 4. As the trailer unveiled during the Summer Game Fest 2022 conference was not enough to dispel doubts, Naughty Dog recently split of a tweet in which he slipped a comparative video dedicated to Tess, one of the central characters of The Last of Us played by the American actress Annie Wersching (24, Runaways). And the least we can say is that the visual quality is totally different. Indeed, the Tess from The Last of Us Part I has a much more realistic rendering, with features that fit perfectly with those of Annie Wersching.

We remind you that in addition to offering a total overhaul of the graphics, The Last of Us Part I will have modernized gameplay, improved controls (thanks in particular to the DualSense functionalities), a whole host of accessibility options , as well as an overhauled combat system and exploration mechanics. The “Left Behind” extension will be automatically included, without forgetting Deluxe Digital Edition (89.99€) and the Firefly Edition (which, obviously, is already out of stock).

The release of The Last of Us Part I is scheduled for September 2, knowing that the PC will also be served at a later date.
