A Ukrainian MP punched the Russian representative in Turkey

Ukrainian MP Oleksandr Marikovsky punched the Russian representative in the face at the meeting of the Black Sea Economic Organization BSEC yesterday Thursday in Ankara, the capital of Turkey.

The Ukrainian tried to interfere with the video interview. He was holding the Ukrainian flag, which the Russian took from his hands. Oleksandr Marikovski himself posted a video of the incident on his Facebook page.

Earlier yesterday, some representatives of Ukraine scuffled with security personnel because they tried to prevent them from demonstrating at the same time as the Russian High Representative Olga Timofeeva spoke at the meeting.

Speaker of the Turkish National Assembly Mustafa Sentop reprimanded the rioters after the incident.

– I condemn this behavior that disturbs the peaceful environment that Turkey is trying to create, he commented.

Representatives of the Black Sea Economic Organization from 13 countries met on Thursday. On Thursday, Russia carried out 24 drone strikes around Ukraine.
