It was at the beginning of June last year that an A-tractor was involved in a serious accident on county road 161 at Ekholma west of Herrestad outside Uddevalla. Now the driver is charged for the accident, P4 West was the first to report on it.
The 18-year-old driver was driving faster than 30 km/h and lost control, causing them to drive into the ditch and overturn.
One of the passengers suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to Sahlgrenska hospital by ambulance helicopter. As a result, the now 18-year-old driver is charged with causing bodily harm. The 18-year-old man is also charged with illegal driving.
