Darcy Kuemper fanned the victory to her baby. Aleksander Barkov’s Florida defeated the New Jersey Devils 4–3.
Canadian guard of the Washington Capitals Darcy Kuemper stole the spotlight with his airing of the winning goal competition in the hockey league NHL.
Kuemper made the save in the contest for the winning goal Nazdem Kadri bet, stood up and waved his arms back and forth like he was holding a baby.
The match was the first for the 33-year-old Kuemper after having a baby. It made him emotional.
– It just occurred to me. I hadn’t thought about it beforehand, but it just happened. Funny thing, Kuemper told the media after the match.
Kuemper made 38 saves as Washington defeated Calgary 3–2.
– You make me cry here. This was his first game. He doesn’t remember it, but it was nice to win for the first time for him, Kuemper continued.
The Panthers held their ground
Alexander Barkov The Florida Panthers’ lead lasted until the end when the team defeated the New Jersey Devils 4–3.
Panthers already led 3–0 after the half of the match, when Niko Mikkola scored his first goal in his new club. At the beginning of the third period, the game was already 4–0, when Sam Reinhart directed his second hit of the night. Barkov got the second assist point for the overtime goal.

Erik Haula directed by Jack Hughes made a 1-4 reduction from the shot and passed even later by Michael McLeod a hit. The Panthers still let the Devils into the goal, but withstood the opponent’s final push.
