A sword of 6 carats buried somewhere this unprecedented treasure

May lovers of puzzles are preparing: an extraordinary treasure hunt will allow them to win a very great value sword. And it is a well -known amusement park which is at the origin.

Treasure hunt, escape game … If we appreciate these kinds of challenges, it’s generally because we love solving puzzles, showing inventiveness and ingenuity. There are several levels to these quests, but, even if we start, nothing prevents trying his luck for the most difficult. And something tells us that a new treasure hunt will attract followers, but also curious novices.

For the moment, we just know that the treasure is “In the kingdom of France or perhaps even in a kingdom which was once linked to France by lineage” and that “The location of the treasure is not on private land”said the organizers. Regulations brings more details and reveals that the box is “Located on the territory of one of the following six countries: Portugal, Spain, Andorra, France, United Kingdom, Ireland”. To find him, we will have to solve a series of twelve puzzles which were created by Etienne Picand, co -founder of the specialized company Unsolve Hunts. Clever little ones are warned, creators “Invented an inviolable method, allowing to build puzzles capable of resisting the extraordinary springs of artificial intelligence”.

This treasure hunt is organized by Puy du Fou. The Vendée park indeed proposes to get in search of the Exkalibur sword, that of the legendary King Arthur. It took more than six months to two French sword manufacturers to create this extraordinary piece, which was then golden and set with a precious stone, a red spine of 6.23 carats. Its value is estimated at 250,000 euros, and it was put in a trunk and buried somewhere.

To participate, you have to buy the game, which will be launched in April or May 2025. For the moment, it is simply possible to pre -order it, and those who do it are entitled to a preliminary quest, but also to two advantages: they will receive the game a week before everyone and can already start working on the first two puzzles from their digital space. The basic box, simply with the game in physical version and in digital version, costs 39 euros.

Nothing lets you know how long it will take for Exkalibur to be found. But the Puy du Fou indicates that“After five years, on June 1, 2030, if no one fulfills the conditions to be declared winner”he will decide “Either to continue the game, or to stop the game and, if necessary, to attribute the gain for the benefit of any charitable or humanitarian entity, or for the benefit of the organization of a new event”.
